Both children and adults spend long hours sitting in class.

Regular activity throughout the day is important.

Physical activity can be easily included, as in this video by Dr. Elsa Orellano, led by the teacher, even while class continues as normal.

Few minutes between classes can be used for more creactive movement, and students can take turns in leading movements.

Break times can also be used for 10 minute exercises, sports or games.

Physical education in schools can be made more comprehensive to include different types of physical activity and reducing sedentary time.
